Problem

Info producers and small content teams spend hours manually searching for trends across different platforms, coming up with ideas, creating drafts, and queuing up posts. ChatGPT doesn't help here: it has no access to real-time data from Telegram, YouTube, and Reddit, it can't automatically create pages in Notion, schedule publications in Telegram, or work on a schedule without manual triggering. As a result, content comes out irregularly, and time is spent on routine tasks.

Solution

A set of 7 n8n workflows automates the entire cycle. 01_trend_collector runs on a Cron schedule every 6 hours, collecting trends from Telegram, YouTube, and Reddit, normalizing them, and saving them to Google Sheets/Airtable, while sending the top 5 to Telegram. 02_idea_generator is triggered via Webhook and generates 10 ideas using GPT-4 based on the trends or a specified topic. 03_notion_draft_creator creates drafts in Notion from these ideas with the required properties. 04_content_scheduler daily at 9:00 builds a publishing queue from ready Notion pages and sends the schedule to Telegram. 05_telegram_publisher schedules posts to the channel via the Telegram API. 06_analytics_reporter collects statistics on published content every Monday and sends a report to the administrator. 07_content_repurposer turns an article or video URL into 3 content formats. All workflows run on a schedule or via Webhook — with no manual triggering.

More details

This is not a prompt pack or a guide, but a working system of 7 importable n8n workflows that cover the full content production cycle: from trend discovery to reporting. Each workflow solves one task and can be used either standalone or in conjunction with the others via a Webhook chain. Data collection starts with 01_trend_collector.json: on a Cron schedule every 6 hours, it pulls trends from Telegram (by hashtags and channels via the Telegram API), from YouTube (Data API v3 — popular videos by keywords), and from Reddit (top posts in specified subreddits). The data is normalized into a single format and saved to Google Sheets or Airtable, while the top 5 trends are sent as a notification to Telegram. Next, 02_idea_generator.json accepts a topic or niche via Webhook and calls OpenAI (GPT-4) to generate 10 post or video ideas with brief descriptions. The result is clean JSON that can be passed further down the chain. 03_notion_draft_creator.json takes this array of ideas and creates draft pages in Notion, automatically filling in properties: status "Draft", creation date, tags. In response, it returns links to the created pages. When the drafts are ready for publication, 04_content_scheduler.json (Cron daily at 9:00) finds pages in Notion with the status "Ready to publish", builds a queue, and sends a notification with the day's schedule to a Telegram channel or buffer. The content itself is not published — it is only queued. Publication is handled by 05_telegram_publisher.json: via Webhook it accepts text and time, schedules a delayed message in the Telegram channel (sendMessage with schedule_date), and returns the message ID and status. This workflow can be used separately as delayed posting. Reporting is handled by 06_analytics_reporter.json: on Mondays it collects statistics from Telegram (views, reactions), YouTube (likes, comments), and Reddit (upvotes) for materials published during the week, generates a report, and sends it to the administrator's Telegram chat. The bonus scenario is 07_content_repurposer.json: it accepts the URL of an article or video, extracts the text (via the Diffbot API or parsing), and uses OpenAI to create 3 versions of content: a post for Telegram, a thread for Twitter, and a script for YouTube Shorts. The entire system is built on a single stack: n8n + Telegram API + YouTube Data API v3 + Reddit API + OpenAI + Notion + Google Sheets/Airtable (+ Diffbot for repurposing). All you need to do is import the JSON files, insert your API keys, and configure the schedules. No manual launching or copying — the content factory runs itself.

Features

  • Cron-based trend collection every 6 hours from Telegram (hashtags/channels), YouTube (Data API v3), and Reddit (subreddits)
  • Normalization of data from three sources into a unified format and saving to Google Sheets or Airtable
  • Telegram notification with the top 5 trends after each collection
  • Webhook generation of 10 post/video ideas via OpenAI GPT-4 based on trends or a specified topic
  • Automatic creation of drafts in Notion with properties: status "Draft", creation date, tags
  • Daily scheduler at 9:00: searching for Notion pages with status "Ready to publish" and forming a queue
  • Scheduled publishing of posts to a Telegram channel via sendMessage with the schedule_date parameter
  • Weekly analytical report on Mondays: Telegram views and reactions, YouTube likes and comments, Reddit upvotes
  • Repurposing: from an article or video URL — a post for Telegram, a thread for Twitter, and a script for YouTube Shorts
  • Each workflow is autonomous and can be triggered separately via Webhook

What you get

  • 01_trend_collector.json — workflow with a Cron trigger (every 6 hours): collecting trends from Telegram, YouTube and Reddit, normalization, saving to Google Sheets/Airtable, notification in Telegram with the top 5
  • 02_idea_generator.json — workflow with a Webhook trigger: generating 10 post/video ideas via OpenAI GPT-4, returning JSON with ideas and descriptions
  • 03_notion_draft_creator.json — workflow with a Webhook trigger: creating draft pages in Notion with auto-filled properties, returning links
  • 04_content_scheduler.json — workflow with a Cron trigger (daily at 9:00): searching Notion pages for “Ready to publish”, forming a queue, notification in Telegram with the schedule
  • 05_telegram_publisher.json — workflow with a Webhook trigger: scheduled publishing to a Telegram channel via sendMessage + schedule_date, returning ID and status
  • 06_analytics_reporter.json — workflow with a Cron trigger (on Mondays): collecting statistics from Telegram, YouTube and Reddit for the week, generating and sending a report to Telegram
  • 07_content_repurposer.json — workflow with a Webhook trigger: extracting text by URL (Diffbot/parsing) and creating 3 versions of content: a Telegram post, a Twitter thread, a YouTube Shorts script

Installation guide

1. Install and run n8n (self-hosted or cloud). 2. Import all 7 JSON files via Workflows → Import from File. 3. Obtain and add to n8n Credentials: Telegram Bot Token (from @BotFather), YouTube Data API v3 Key, Reddit API (client id/secret), OpenAI API Key, Notion API Token + database ID, Google Sheets or Airtable API. 4. In each workflow, open the API nodes and insert your credentials. 5. In 01_trend_collector, specify the Telegram hashtags/channels, YouTube keywords, and the list of subreddits; specify the Google Sheets/Airtable table and the chat_id for notifications. 6. In 03_notion_draft_creator, specify the Notion database ID and the property mapping (status, tags, date). 7. In 04_content_scheduler, check the Cron schedule (9:00) and chat_id. 8. In 05_telegram_publisher, specify the publication channel. 9. In 06_analytics_reporter, specify the administrator chat_id. 10. Activate the workflows (Active toggle). For Webhook workflows (02, 03, 05, 07), copy the Webhook URL from the node and use it for invocation. 11. Test each workflow with the Execute Workflow button.
