The material was published on Habr, article ID — 1083178. The author bought a 3D printer in 2025, and around July decided to print an organizer for small items. No suitable ready-made model was found, and the first attempt in Blender ended in giving up: the author got lost among the panels, buttons, and settings.
Renewed interest in Blender 🔄 arose after examples of working with Blender via Codex and GPT-6 Astra appeared in the community.
The first exercise was a desk lamp — 4 parts: base, stand, bracket, and shade. After modeling came setting up materials and lighting, and on top of that a five-second camera fly-around of the finished model. An image with the result is attached to the breakdown.
