Meta has launched the WhatsApp Business MCP server: business accounts are now set up by AI agents 🤖
The analogy comes from the world of coding agents. Before MCP existed, every service was hooked up to a model with a custom wrapper. Then a single protocol appeared — and the agent can now access any tool with the same hands it uses to edit files in a project. They did exactly the same thing with WhatsApp Business.

Claude, Cursor, Codex, and ChatGPT use this server to set up a business account: they build message templates, test them, and debug them. The routine part of integrating with the WhatsApp Business API is now handled by an agent ⚙️
