iOS 27 is out — the redesigned Siri is useful again for everyday tasks

iOS 27 is out: Apple unveiled a reworked Siri ⚡

The assistant overhaul, which fell under the "long-delayed" category, arrived with iOS 27. There was no separate release for it.

In a TechCrunch review dated September 14, 2026 (current as of September 15, 2026), the author writes that after the update he started using Siri again for everyday tasks 📱

Now for the internals. Third-party apps got new scenarios through Apple Intelligence — there's one concrete example in the text, the Daydream app. And Siri invocations now work without opening the app: the assistant comes up on its own, rather than through launching an app. An image is attached to the review post.

And now, against the release tone: there are no links to the product website, GitHub, or HuggingFace. The only external link is the TechCrunch review itself. Named new capabilities — one, invoking Siri without opening the app; example apps — also one, Daydream.

: with a minimal edit.

— Hook: the type (release announcement + emoji) overlaps only with the StepFun post, but the emoji is at the end rather than the beginning — there's no "three in a row" of identical hooks.

— Tone: the last three posts are neutral-technical; here the skepticism is only at the end — there's no series of three same-tone posts.

— Ending: the dominant pattern of the last posts is "breakdown/link at the end." Here the ending is different (a breakdown "against the release tone" with a count: one capability, one example) — the pattern is unique.

— The only match is the repeated "выкатил(и)" construction: it appears in the posts about Alisa AI and StepFun, and now here too. I replaced the repeated verb "выкатила" → "представила." The facts, voice, and the rest of the text are untouched
