DeepMind introduced Gemini 3.8 Live and Gemini 3.8 Live Extended Thinking

No wrappers: two live models came out, both aimed at interactive scenarios. Live responds in a stream, in real time, within the dialogue. Extended Thinking is the same line, but with an extended "thinking" mode: the model spends additional compute on reasoning before producing an answer.
Hence the two load profiles: live interactivity needs minimal latency, complex reasoning tasks need precision of analysis .⚡ One release, two branches for different kinds of tasks.
