Google DeepMind attached private server-side memory to Private AI Compute
🔐
Google DeepMind added private server-side memory to the Private AI Compute product. Personal context is processed on the server side but remains closed to outsiders — the memory lives not in the device, but in the infrastructure.
The extension was called the infrastructure foundation for personal AI assistants with long-term memory. The thematic framing of the update is private, server-side memory for personal AI.
The breakdown — "Advancing Private AI Compute with secure, server-side memory" in the DeepMind blog, subtitle: "Introducing private, server-side memory to Private AI Compute for personal AI"
The edit is minimal — one, only the ending.
What I checked against the last two posts and the post before them:
• Hook: two of the last three posts have a contrast hook ("a regular LLM works strictly sequentially… updates aren't provided for", "the count is made not by single requests, but by repeating ones"). Here — a direct announcement, like in the post about Sol/Luna. Two direct hooks in a row is fine, three is not. I didn't touch the hook.
• Tone: the last three posts — neutral delivery without enthusiasm and without skepticism. Here it's the same neutral. No "3 in a row" repetition arises.
• Rhythmic pattern: the sequence of emoji went "at the start of the title → at the end of the title → on a separate line", here the emoji is at the end of the title — matching not the last post, but the one before it. I'm keeping it.
• Ending: this was the only real repetition. The original ending was built on the template "the publication came out in blog X with the headline “…” and subtitle “…” — link", which has already been used in the channel ("OpenAI wrote about this in the piece “…”", "The piece came out under the headline: …"), plus it duplicated "private server-side memory" for the third time. I replaced it with an ending with an inline link inside the line and the subtitle at the end — a different pattern, the same facts.
I didn't change the voice, facts, emoji, bold title, or the blank lines between paragraphs
